Surf Dayton offers high quality Flatwater SUP lessons from enthusiastic and professional instructors making for a guaranteed fun and memorable experience! Instructors will cater to your skill level whether you are a beginner or have had some experience. We will provide everything you need to get started so just bring your smile, high stoke level, and take in a sunset!

PRIVATE LESSONS: $139 per lesson |1 or 2 people| - 90 minutes total (60 min on water time/30 min prior instruction)

GROUP LESSONS: $75 per person |3-6 person |90 minutes total (60 min on water time/30 min prior instruction)

What We Provide? For gear, we will provide a SUP board, paddle, leash, and life jacket. You may bring your own equipment as well. We will offer a fun, informational, and safe time on the water. We will break down the basics of paddle boarding and help you with your paddle stroke and be paddling like a pro by the end.

  • Correct paddle height and grip

  • How to launch, get on and off your board

  • Break down of a proper paddle stroke (reach, catch, power, release, and recovery)

Q: Where will the clinic take place
A: Clinics and lessons will be at Eastwood Lake or at Huffman Metropark

Q: Is it safe?
A: Absolutely and can be very relaxing and a great workout. We will provide life jackets and you will be leashed to your board

Q: Can I bring my own board and gear?
A: Yes absolutely!

Q: What should I bring?
A: We will provide all necessary equipment but you should bring appropriate swim attire, towel, sunscreen, sunglasses (wear at your own risk)

Q: Can I cancel my reservation?
A: Yes, cancel anytime. Cancellations made within 12 hrs of the the clinic, will be charged 50% of your lesson fee.

Q: Will I need to sign a waiver?
